Persopo gathers records from federal, state, county and municipal databases to provide information about criminal, arrest and police records, marriage and divorce records, addresses, phone numbers, real age, and the names of other people in a household.

Overview of the information removal process:

Persopo allows you to easily request to remove your info via email or U.S. Mail. If you find multiple records for your information such as variations to the spelling or reference to your name, you can send a separate request for each record.

How to remove your information:

Follow these steps to remove your info from Persopo via email:

  1. Search for a person by first name, last name, and state through the search form at
  2. Once you have found your record, click the “open report” button to view all the available details.
  3. Copy the entire record in text format.  To do this just set your cursor to the information at the top left, hold down the mouse button and drag the cursor to the bottom right.  All the information should be highlighted.  Now on a PC, hit the “Ctrl” key and the “C” key at the same time.  This will copy the text.  Paste it into an email or document by placing your cursor where you want the text to go and hitting “Ctrl” and “V” at the same time.  On a mac, repeat the above process, but use the “Command” and “C” keys and the “Command” and “V” keys.
  4. Paste the information into an email and send it to [email protected]

You can also request to remove your info by mail. You must complete steps 1-4 above and send the printed document with the text from your record to:

As with many of the other services, Persopo relies on other partners to obtain the data they show in their system.  If your personal information is connected to other spellings of your name, new phone numbers, new addresses, etc.., it may reappear in their system.  It would be in your best interest to revisit their website at a later date to ensure that you do not have to remove your information again.
